PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus which can avoid a deterioration in workability of water using operation as much as possible by preventing a user's view looking down the water using operation from being obstructed by a water supply pipe and a water pipe of the water treatment apparatus in which a treatment unit and a switching unit are installed separately. SOLUTION: The water treatment apparatus has the switching unit 2 for switching raw water to a prescribed spout port or water passage by a switching valve 7 attached to a faucet 6 for feeding the raw water, and installed inside, the treatment unit 3 separated from the switching unit 2 for treating the raw water, the water supply pipe 4 connecting the switching unit 2 and the treatment unit 3 for supplying the raw water switched by the switching valve 7 to the treatment unit 3, and the water pipe 5 connecting the switching unit 2 and the treatment unit 3 for sending treated water treated in the treatment unit 3 to the switching unit 2.
