PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-water separator of structure efficiently discharging only rainwater from an oil retaining dike, in particular, suitable for integrally forming a dike and an oil-water separator to make them of a transportable type. SOLUTION: This oil-water separator 21 is set on the lower part of a bottom plate surrounded with the oil-retaining dike, and is provided, in an upper-opened separator body 22, with a flow-in chamber 31 receiving oil-water mixture on the bottom plate, a drain chamber 34 disposed via separation chambers 32, 33 demarcated by a plurality of partition plates 23, 24, 25 from the flow-in chamber 31, and a drain pipe 27 discharging separated water from an upper part of the drain chamber to the outside of the separator. The partition plates are integrally formed with upper parts connected to a top plate 26, lower half parts of respective partition plates are provided with corresponding water passing parts (through-holes 23a, 24a, 25a) introducing the separated water from the flow-in chamber to the drain chamber 34, and a cap-like member 28 consisting of the integrally formed top plate and partition plates is detachably provided.
