PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag type dust collector reduced in cost as a whole and capable of ensuring a sufficient amount of air, even in the case of a large-sized bag type dust collector constituted so as to suppress the cost of a diaphragm valve and having a large number of filters suspended in one row. SOLUTION: In the bag type dust collector 1 equipped with filters 7 for filtering dust-containing air, the backwashing pressure air jet nozzles 9 arranged to a pulse air supply pipe 8 in opposed relation to the filters 7 and the diaphragm valve 10 for supplying the compressed air from a main pressure air supply pipe 11 to the pulse air supply pipe 8 and constituted so as to backwash the filters 7 by the compressed air from the backwashing pressure air jet nozzles 9, the branch pipes 8a and 8b of one pulse air supply pipe 8 are connected to the main pressure air supply pipe 11 through the diaphragm valve 10.
