<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a hydrophobic structure, which is for manufacturing the hydrophobic structure comprising a hard coating layer and a hydrophobic coating layer on a substrate surface, wherein the hard coating layer having a rough surface and the hydrophobic coating layer formed on the rough surface are successively formed on the substrate surface, mainly by the atmospheric pressure plasma coating technique. <P>SOLUTION: Due to the hard coating layer (11) and the hydrophobic coating layer (13) contained in the hydrophobic structure (1), the hydrophobic structure (1) has improved hardness and abrasion resistance, achieves protection of the base substrate and has improved transparency and hydrophobic property compared with conventional techniques. Moreover, the application of the atmospheric pressure plasma coating technique drastically reduces the production cost and solves the problems associated with conventional techniques. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
