PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system of high productivity by solving a problem of productivity retardation caused by main-sheet processing.

SOLUTION: The image forming system including: the image forming apparatus having a sheet feeding and conveying means for feeding main sheets and cover sheets; and a binding apparatus for binding based on the main sheets and the cover sheets outputted from the image forming apparatus, includes a control means for controlling the sheet feeding and conveying means so as to feed the cover sheets after feeding the main sheets.
