PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella dewatering device capable of improving water absorbing efficiency. SOLUTION: This umbrella dewatering device comprises an umbrella receiving portion 90 receiving an umbrella 100 inserted from its tip, a water absorbing chamber 80 formed at an outer side of a water absorbing sheet 7 surrounding the umbrella receiving portion 90, and a sucking means 30 for sucking the water contained in the water absorbing sheet 70 by sucking the water absorbing chamber 80. The umbrella holding portion 90 is composed of an umbrella shank receiving hole portion 910, and a plurality of rib insertion chambers 900 of longitudinal rectangular shape, formed into the slit shape extending radially outward from the umbrella shank receiving portion 910 on its cross-sectional shape, and equally distributed around the umbrella shank receiving portion 910 for inserting the ribs 101 of the umbrella 100, and the ribs 101 are independently inserted into the ribs insertion chambers 900.
