PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine compartment structure of a vehicle body capable of securing high rigidity against an input load at low cost. SOLUTION: A front side ring skeleton part 33 and a rear side ring skeleton part 35 constituted in ring shapes as seen at side surfaces are formed on a front part and a rear part of an engine compartment 1 of a hood ridge member 3 arranged on the upper part side of the engine compartment 1 provided on the vehicle body and extended and provided in the vehicle longitudinal direction, a suspension member 7 arranged below the hood ridge member 3 and extended and provided in the vehicle longitudinal direction, a front side connecting member 5 to connect front end parts of these hood ridge member 3 and the suspension member 7 to each other, a rear side connecting member to connect rear end parts of the hood ridge member 3 and the suspension member 7 to each other and a joint member 15 arranged between the front side connecting member 5 and the rear side connecting member, extended in the vertical direction and to vertically connect the hood ridge member 3 and the suspension member 7 to each other.
