PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a classifier for mixed waste capable of simply and surely performing classification and performing recycling of waste as far as possible, without causing atmospheric pollution with satisfactory work environment. SOLUTION: In this pneumatic classifier, a vibration conveyer transferring the mixed waste and air blow-out ports under the dropping port of the vibration conveyer are disposed. The blow-out ports are provided in multiple stages, and the blow-out port of the final stage is preferably formed to blow off the waste jumped up on the vibration conveyer and to perform gravity separation. The classifier is provided with a container containing pneumatically classified recovered materials, a chamber covering the vicinity of the blow-out ports, and a suction device keeping the inside of the chamber in a slightly negative pressure compared with the atmospheric pressure.
