PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure an apparatus for screening foreign matter compact by getting a function of a device for screening pebbles and a function of screening a long waste such as a straw waste together. SOLUTION: The apparatus for screening a foreign matter comprises a pebble screening part (C) which has a cylinder (B) rotated with a driving shaft (3) of a lateral direction axis, a number of recessed parts (r) being provided on the inner face of the cylinder, for screening the pebbles intermingled with food grains by scooping them up with the recessed parts (r) and a long waste screening part (D) which has a long-waste screening tube (13), a number of penetrated holes (p) being formed thereon, after the process of the pebble screening part (C) for screening the long waste (h) such as the straw waste from the food grains by passing the food grains through the penetrated holes (p).
