PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing container for a lipstick or the like, a container in which effect of a sliding member can be confirmed by merely setting an inner cylindrical member, tray member, spiral member and the sliding member, with no twist occurring in the sliding member molded with a soft material, in which effect of the sliding member could be ensured before setting a sheath member, and in which awkward appearance of design is avoided. SOLUTION: For the purpose of stabilizing feed torque, the cylindrical sliding member molded with a soft material is used, in which the lower part is engaged with a locking projection piece of the spiral member while the upper inner face is in slidable contact with the outer circumferential face of the inner cylindrical member. As a result, the sliding member is designed to apply the brake on the rotation of the spiral member and the inner cylindrical member. Then, the sliding member of the stick-shaped cosmetic product housing container is engaged with the spiral member, so that the feed torque of the stick-shaped cosmetic product can be ensured before setting the sheath member and can be stabilized.
