PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine in which a ball stopping mechanism surely functions even when game balls flow into a ball discharge device in two or more columns and two or more stages and the ball discharge device can be fixed and unfixed in relation to the operation of the ball stopping mechanism. SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with an opening/closing member 41 which can be converted to an opening state of opening a communicating port communicating a ball storage tank 31 and the ball discharge device 32 and a closing state of closing the communicating port. When the opening/closing member is converted into the opening state, the game balls are permitted to flow down from the ball storage tank to the ball discharge device, the opening/closing member is engaged with the ball discharge device, and the separation of the ball discharge device from a ball discharge unit is regulated. When the opening/closing member is converted into the closing state, the flow-down of the game balls from the ball storage tank to the ball discharge device is regulated, the engaged state of the opening/closing member and the ball discharge device is released, and the separation of the ball discharge device from the ball discharge unit is permitted.
