A material (Fig. 1) for the fabrication of a luminous display device comprises a glass or vitroceramic substrate (1), a first layer (2) deposited on one side of the substrate (1) and essentially including at least one transparent conducting oxide (TCO), simple or mixed, doped or not, a second layer (3) of at least one transparent conductive oxide, simple or mixed, doped or not, both layers being such that the first layer (2) has a roughness of more than 1 nm and the second layer (3) has a roughness less than or equal to 1 nm, transmittance in the visible range of the product having both layers is equal to at least 80%, the work function of the second layer (3) is greater that the work function of the first layer (2) and is greater than 4.6eV and, preferably, greater than 4.8eV. the first layer (2) is advantageously an indium oxide layer doped with tin, and the second layer (3) is a tin oxide layer doped with antimony. A luminous display device (Fig. 2), in particular to organic light emitting diodes incorporating these materials on their anode side is described. |
