<p>In order to automatically generate an identifier associated with a device controller role or the like, a plurality of devices (x, y) are connected to field busses (FBx, FBy). An ID generation unit (10) in a device controller (D) communicating with the devices (x, y) performs software stack scan for identifying the type of the field buses (FBx, FBy) and performs communication based on the identified sub network type so as to identify the device feature. Then, topology information formed by the feature of field buses (FBx, FBy) and the feature of devices (x, y) are made a local identifier.</p> |
