<p>The engine has combustion chamber (4) in each cylinder (2). An injector (6) has injection nozzle (11), which injects fuel into combustion chamber, which is cone shaped and produces ignitable fuel mixture with supplied combustion air. The mixture is ignited by a spark plug (7). The electrodes (12) of the spark plug are located outside the lateral surface (9) of the fuel cone (8) produced from the injection nozzle. The conical fuel jet diffuses without mechanical flow barrier effects and the electrodes enter into fuel vortex (10) coming out from the lateral surface, when fuel is injected.</p> |
