The device has two bearing rails (A) provided for an adhesive-bonded product e.g. booklet, where a gap is provided between the bearing rails for feeding pages to be tested. Ends of each rail are supported by slide- or ball bearings. A pull mechanism exerts a pulling force on the pages to be tested. The bearing rails are brought into a normal position by a motor drive before a tensile load is exerted and measured on the pages to be tested, where the normal position is necessary for measurement of the page pull force.
