The arrangement has an impedance (9) connected with an electrical connection point (3), where current flowing through the impedance controls the display condition of display units e.g. light emitting diodes, in a display device (10). The control of the display condition of the display units takes place either by a phase relation between the current through the impedance and the current through another impedance (7) or by the amount level of current through the impedance (9). A current flow between another two connection points (1, 2) energizes the display units in the display device.
