HOME NETWORK-BROADCASTING LINKING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MUTUALLY USING MULTIMEDIA CONTENT BETWEEN HOME NETWORK AND BROADCASTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a multimedia content which exists in a home network using a home network terminal or a television.

SOLUTION: A system includes: home network means which relay a home network content and a broadcasting content for a reproduction on a home network terminal or a television; broadcasting means which receive a broadcasting signal transmitted via a broadcasting network and divide the broadcasting signal into a broadcasting content list and a broadcasting content; home network-broadcasting linking means which transform the broadcasting content list divided by the broadcasting means into a home network content list format and transmit it to the home network means; and image processing means which transmit user selection information to the home network means and the broadcasting means according to a type of content selected by a user, receive the home network content or the broadcasting content, and perform an image signal processing in order to enable a reproduction on the television.
