<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic solar cell capable of sufficiently improving photoelectric conversion efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The organic solar cell has: a hetero-junction layer 3 in which a p-type conjugate polymer having electron-donative property is mixed with an n-type semiconductor having electron acceptance; a first electrode 2 provided on one surface side of the hetero-junction layer 3; and a second electrode 4 provided on the other side surface of the hetero-junction layer 3. The hetero-junction layer 3 includes organometallic complex. The level of LUMO of the organometallic complex is somewhere between the lowest energy level of the conductive band of the p-type conjugate polymer and that of the conductive band of the n-type semiconductor. The level of HOMO of the organometallic complex is somewhere between the highest energy level of valenceband of the p-type conjugate polymer and that of valenceband of the n-type semiconductor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
