<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant restraint system, in which the front end of a lap belt is interlocked with a vehicle body member through an attachment member, capable of facilitating attachment of the attachment member onto the vehicle body member. <P>SOLUTION: An occupant restraint system 20 includes: an expandable lap bag 22 comprised of a webbing 21 to be extended along the front side of an occupant's upper body and a front end of a lap belt; an inflator 23 for inflating the wrap bag 22; a bracket 70 for attaching the front end of the lap bag 22 onto a vehicle body; and an anchor 24 for connecting the front end of the lap bag 22 to the bracket 70. A hook 75 and a projection 76 protruded from the bracket 70 are fitted into openings 81, 82 arranged in a vehicle body floor 80 so that the bracket 70 can be precisely positioned. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
