PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment in which a TV tuner equipped with a function of a control station and a display device are separably constituted and by which transmission efficiency is enhanced while reducing an operation burden. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment concerning the present invention is equipped with a base device which is connected to a network and functions as an access point and a main body device which is attachably/detachably connected to the base device by cable and by which radio communication with the base device is possible, the base device has a first radio communication means for performing radio communication with the main body device and a radio terminal as the access point when it is not connected with the main body device by cable, the main body device has a second radio communication means which performs radio communication with the base device as a client when it is not connected to the base device, the second radio communication means transmits a connection request of the radio communication to be directly performed with the radio terminal without interposing the base device to the first radio communication means when cable connection is released and after that, directly performs radio communication with the radio terminal.
