PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To capture a desired image on a screen under reception as still image data and to record that still image data on a recording medium while attaching extra information thereto. SOLUTION: When a screen shot key is depressed, an image on a screen under reception is captured as still image data and that still image data is recorded on a recording medium while attaching received information thereto. When the screen shot key is depressed, voice of the screen under reception is stored for a predetermined time and when the screen shot key is depressed continuously for a predetermined time, the stored voice data is recorded in association with the still image data recorded on the recording medium. When the screen shot key is depressed continuously longer than the predetermined time, a voice inputted during depression of the screen shot key, if any, is recognized and converted into character data and the converted character data is recorded on the recording medium in association with the still image data recorded thereon.
