PIEZOELECTRIC ELEMENT CONNECTING MEMBER AND DRIVING MEMBER USING SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving member for a fuel injection nozzle with a piezoelectric element which does not electrostatically break down. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric element connecting member 8 is provided with a plate comprising ceramic material having volume specific resistance of from 105to 106Ωm and conductive passages 8a formed from one main surface of the plate to the other main surface thereof, arranged between the piezoelectric element 2 and a pin support 1, and electrically connects the piezoelectric element 2 and a pin 1b supported by the pin support 1 to each other through the conductive passages 8a. High voltage caused by static electricity is prevented from being applied between the conductive passages 8a by the plate comprising ceramic material having volume specific resistance of from 105to 106Ωm.
