PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation construction method in the improved ground for constructing a foundation capable of withstanding big overturning moment with a small construction burden. SOLUTION: A steel foundation beam 40 is fixed to projecting parts 12b of anchors 10 buried in solidified improved soil 10 in the improved ground, through a height adjusting spacer 30 between itself and the top end of the improved soil 20. The anchor 10 comprises an anchor body member 11 and an extension member 12. The anchor body member 11 is buried in the improved soil 20 before carrying out the rolling compaction of the shallow mixed ground. A part of the anchor body member 11 is exposed, and the extension member 12 is connected to the exposed anchor body member 11.
