PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus preventing a clogging of the nozzle. SOLUTION: A droplet discharge device has a discharge mechanism discharging a liquid and a humidity control mechanism controlling the humidity in the vicinity of the discharge mechanism with a humidity conditioning material. The humidity conditioning material is arranged in the droplet discharging plane, or the discharge mechanism is enclosed with an enclosure member or a housing 21 which has a humidity conditioning material in the inside wall.
