PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste liquid treatment apparatus capable of treating the waste liquid containing an alcohol component efficiently and securely. SOLUTION: The waste liquid treatment apparatus for treating the waste liquid containing an alkali component, a volatile acid component and the alcohol component comprises an evaporator 20 which leaves a neutralization salt by mixing it with an acid for neutralizing the alkali component to evaporate the waste liquid by heating, and generates a vapor containing the volatile acid component and the alcohol component to discharge; a condenser 40 which condenses the vapor discharged from the evaporator 20 to separately generate acid-containing condensate mainly having the volatile acid component and alcohol-containing condensate mainly having the alcohol component; and an alcohol separator 80 which separates the alcohol component from the alcohol-containing condensate generated in the condenser 40, wherein the condensate separated with the alcohol component in the alcohol separator 80 is configured to be led to the condenser 40 as cooling water.
