The holder has a body (1) with two pairs of U or V shaped arms(6,7) for holding the wire (19, 20) and a fixing element (2) for fitting onto a post(5). The arms open in the traction direction of the foil or net cover (21, 22) and each pair has a replaceable peg or nail (16,17) to pass through the arms of each pair and the ridge wires to secure same. Independent claim describes foil or net cover with several rows of posts with two ridge wires running over each row and with a holder with arms to secure the wires.
