An OLED(Organic Light Emitting Device) having a charge-injecting blue color filter layer is provided to improve efficiency of injecting charges by selectively placing the charge-injecting blue color filter layer between a light-transmitting electrode and a blue light-emitting layer. An OLED includes a substrate(100), first electrodes(110), a red light-emitting layer(130R), a green light-emitting layer(130G), a blue light-emitting layer(130B), a second electrode(145), and a charge-injecting blue color filter layer(115). The substrate(100) has a red pixel area, a green pixel area, and a blue pixel area. The first electrodes(110) are respectively placed on the pixel areas. The red light-emitting layer(130R) is placed on the first electrode(110) of the red pixel area. The green light-emitting layer(130G) is placed on the first electrode(110) of the green pixel area. The blue light-emitting layer(130B) is placed on the first electrode(110) of the blue pixel area. The second electrode(145) is placed on the light-emitting layers(130R,130G,130B). At least one of the first electrode(110) and the second electrode(145) is a light-transmitting electrode. The charge-injecting blue color filter layer(115) is selectively placed between the blue light-emitting layer(130B) and the light-transmitting electrode. |
