METHOD AND TRANSMITTING APPARATUS FOR TRANSMISSION OF UPLINK SIGNALING INFORMATION FOR SINGLE CARRIER FREQUENCY DIVISION MULTIPLE ACCESS SYSTEM

A method and an apparatus for transmitting uplink signaling information in an SC-FDMA(Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access) are provided to prevent increase of a PAPR(Peak to Average Power Ratio) by removing an interruption factor of single carrier transmission. A method for transmitting uplink signaling information in an SC-FDMA includes the steps of: determining whether to transmit uplink signaling information for downlink data when transmitting uplink data(1302); multiplexing and transmitting the uplink data and transport format control information for the uplink data through a resource which is allocated for the uplink packet data when not transmitting the uplink signaling information(1305); multiplexing the uplink data, a transport format for the uplink data, and the uplink signaling information through the allocated resource for the uplink data when transmitting the uplink signaling information(1308); and transmitting the uplink signaling information through the allocated resource for the uplink signaling information when the uplink data does not exist.
