<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proton conductor usable as an electrolyte or the like of a fuel cell or the like and being a compatibilized material made of an ionic liquid and a polymer. <P>SOLUTION: This proton conductor is a compatibilized material made of a salt comprising Broensted base and Broensted acid, wherein the salt has at least one heteroatom accompanied with protons, and a polymer, wherein the polymer is produced by copolymerizing a vinyl compound, a divinyl compound and a maleimide compound, which is represented by chemical formula 1 wherein R<SP>1</SP>is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group which may contain a substituent, an aryl group or an aralkyl group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
