IMPROVED ELECTRODE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell electrode equipped with catalyst having toxicity resistance against fuel and a oxidant.

SOLUTION: The electrode is composed of a first catalyst composition having activeness in a gas phase reaction part and a second catalyst composition having activeness in an electrochemical reaction part, and each catalyst composition exists as a separated layer or a single mixed layer, or a combined layer of the separated layer and the single mixed layer. The electrode has improved toxicity resistance against a toxic substance such as carbon mono-oxide and carbon dioxide.
