PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely release air from an ink tank by positioning a case toward a head holder in the opening/closing operational direction of an operating member for making an exhaust valve means open and close with the workability of mounting the case secured for exhausting the air to the head holder. SOLUTION: The ink tank 40 is fixed to a reinforcement frame 33 of an ink-jet head 30 with fixing screws 48. The case 45 of the exhaust valve means 47 is installed projecting toward the side from the position for fixing the case to the ink tank 40. The positional relation of the case 45 of the exhaust valve means 47 toward the head holder 9 is determined by the elastic engagement of an engagement projection 45a and an engagement hole 9e which are mutually releasable between the case 45 and the head holder 9. There is no possibility that the case 45 may move to the scanning direction with the operation of a projection shank 121 opening or closing the exhaust valve means or the operation of a cap member 123 connecting to an exhaust passage in the case 45.
