PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating apparatus with which the heating capacity of a heating apparatus to a rolled stock can be improved on the outlet side of a coil box. SOLUTION: The induction heating apparatus 1 is provided on the downstream side of a coil box B and made so that the rolled stock P coiled with the coil box B is discharged and conveyed to the induction heating device 1 with feed rollers R in the lower part. This induction heating apparatus 1 is provided with edge heaters 2a, 2b, which are provided by making four upper, lower, right and left heaters in one set, in two places in the advancing direction of the rolled stock P, and the edge parts of the fed rolled stock P are heated with these edge heaters 2a, 2b. In the vicinity of the edge heaters 2a, 2b, a material straightening apparatus 3 for limiting the amount of camber of the rolled stock P which is conveyed to the induction heating apparatus 1, is provided.
