PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desulfurization catalyst for a catalytically cracked gasoline which has a high level of desulfurization capability in the removal of a sulfur component in a gasoline fraction and has a high level of cracking activity. SOLUTION: In this desulfurization catalyst for catalytically cracked gasoline, particulate vanadium oxide having an average particle diameter in the range of 0.1 to 10μm is contained in an amount of 0.3 to 3% by weight in terms of V2O5in microspherical particles of a porous inorganic oxide. Further, the microspherical particles of the porous inorganic oxide comprises a crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite and a porous inorganic oxide matrix and further contains antimony.
