PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film forming method and a film forming device capable of reducing the used amount of a coating liquid and quickly applying the coating liquid. SOLUTION: The film forming device 10 has two nozzles 2a, 2b that inject an infrared-cut liquid 3 onto the film formation surface 1a of a glass plate 1. The injected amount of the liquid 3 per unit time each injected from the nozzles 2a, 2b is 1 to 3 g/s. First, the liquid 3 is injected from the nozzles 2a, 2b towards a left end of the surface 1a in the plate 1 for two seconds. Then, the two nozzles 2a, 2b are moved in the right direction along the surface 1a at a rate of 50 to 500 mm/s while the liquid 3 is being injected. If the nozzles 2a, 2b reach a right end of the surface 1a in the plate 1, the liquid 3 is injected towards the right end of the surface 1a in the plate 1 from the nozzles 2a, 2b for two seconds.
