PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent operation by displacing a ball guide mover to a first state and a second state above a ball receive hole to give variation and by locking the ball guide mover put in the first state by a locking means. SOLUTION: In this variable winning device, a base 1 is provided with the ball guide mover 10 including the ball receiving hole 2 and a ball guide hole elevated by a predetermined stroke by a guide means along a guide part provided above the ball receiving hole, and a driving means is provided to elevate the ball guide mover. The driving means for elevating the ball guide mover is provided with the locking means in conjunction with each other for locking the operation at the upper limit position of the ball guide mover and releasing locking in driving the driving means. At the upper limit position of the ball guide mover, the operation of the ball guide mover is inhibited by the locking means, and in driving the driving means, locking of the locking means is released to elevate the ball guide mover, and the ball guide mover can be displaced to the first state at the upper limit position and the second state at the lower limit position by the elevating motion of the ball guide mover caused by the drive of the driving means.
