PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inexpensively producing a stable non-aqueous dispersion of fine particles having an average particle size of 500 nm or less which is used in many fields such as an antireflection composition typified by a liquid crystal display, and paint, ink, plastics, paper, fiber processing, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals, making the best use of powder properties, and to provide an antireflection plate and an antireflection film using the dispersion obtained. SOLUTION: The method for producing a non-aqueous dispersion of fine particles, in which primary particles are retained, comprises producing an aqueous latex containing fine particles having an average particle size of 30-500 nm by aqueous emulsion polymerization, subjecting the fine particles to a treatment for imparting hydrophobicity to the surface thereof, and then causing phase change by adding a nonaqueous solvent. The antireflection film is prepared by coating or laminating the non-aqueous dispersion of fine particles together with a binder on a substrate or a film. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
