The drive motor is provided by a reluctance motor which has a stator (4) and a rotor (5), with an electronic control for commutation of the motor windings via half-bridges with free-running diodes corresponding to respective winding strands (1,2,3) of the stator field winding. The rotor is provided with an energizing winding connected to the supply current source via a transistor for braking operation of the motor, the braking currents in the winding strands supplied to the current source via the free-running diodes. |
