A high-definition luminance controlling apparatus of an LED sign board system is provided to express images, graphics, and animation by using an LED sign board with natural colors. A high-definition luminance controlling apparatus of an LED sign board system includes an image inputting unit(10), an image interface unit(20), a display controlling unit(30), a distributor(40), an LED drive(50), a reference wave generating unit(60), a pulse wave generating unit(70), and an LED dot matrix(80). The image inputting unit(10) inputs image data of a VTR, a DVD, a TV, a VGA, and a video camera. The image interface unit(20) temporarily stores the image data inputted through the image inputting unit(10), and transmits the stored image data. The display controlling unit(30) receives the image data from the image interface unit(20), stores the data in the same form with an address of the LED dot matrix(80), and transmits the stored image data. The distributor(40) expands the image data transmitted from the display controlling unit(30). The LED drive(50) controls the lighting time of each LED dot of the LED dot matrix(80) according to the image data signal expanded in the distributor(40), and generates pulse waves with different weights. The reference wave generating unit(60) generates waves synthesized in the LED drive(50). The pulse wave generating unit(70) generates the pulse waves with the different weights according to a luminance value, and supplies the waves to the reference wave generating unit(60). The LED dot matrix(80) receives the data from the LED drive(50), and expresses images. |
