A heat exchanger for a cooler is provided to cool cooling water quickly and intensely in a heat exchange unit by a cross cooling method between falling water along the outer surface of a heat exchange pipe and a refrigerant. A heat exchanger(10) for a cooler includes a heat exchanger body(11), a heat exchange unit(11a), and an exhaust path unit(11b). The heat exchanger body is elongated with uniform length with a stick shape to minimize a volume of the heat exchanger. The heat exchanging unit operates a cooling by a heat exchange pipe(16) along the heat exchanger body. Cooling water exhausts through the exhaust path unit. The heat exchange unit and the exhaust path form a U-shaped channel while projected and elevated to front and rear for guaranteeing some inner space.
