<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and an image processing program capable of generating a layout image by adjusting sizes of a plurality of images and properly laying out the resulting images. <P>SOLUTION: A personal computer 2 is provided with a CPU 10, a memory 11, a monitor 12, an operation section 13, and a communication I/F 15. The CPU 10 executes an image processing program 16 to act like a face information detection section 21, a principal object comparison section 22, and an image layout section 23 in addition to a browser control section 19. The face information detection section 21 acquires face information including at least face areas from a plurality of selected images. The principal object comparison section 22 compares the face areas of the selected images with each other. The image layout section 23 generates a layout image wherein the selected image with a maximum face area is arranged in the center and the other images whose size is decreasingly adjusted are arranged around the center image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
