PICKUP ACCESS MOVING METHOD OF DISK PLAYBACK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely move an optical pickup to a target position to access even if a difference arises in mechanical response sensitivity by external temperature. SOLUTION: The method includes: a moving distance calculation step S102 for calculating a moving distance required for the optical pickup from time information at the present position of the optical pickup and an arbitrary target position to access on an optical disk; a moving steps calculation step S105 for calculating the number of moving steps up to the target position to access from the moving distance and a moving distance per the number of unit steps; and a moving step S106 for moving the optical pickup to the target position to access by driving a stepping motor by the number of moving steps.
