PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CAD system, a multilayer PCB design method and a CAD program, for efficiently designing a PCB with built-in parts. SOLUTION: An image display device 100 comprises a main body 1 including an arithmetic device 5 for processing information and a storage part 6 for storing information, and an image display part 2, the storage part 6 and the image display part 2 being controlled by the arithmetic device 5. Information for determining whether internal arrangement is possible or not is stored in a part information DB 61 and a substrate information DB 60 is preliminarily stored, whereby an operator can arrange an internally arrangeable layer without his/her own consciousness or determination in operating the image display device 100. Consequently, the efficiency of PCB layout design can be enhanced while preventing a design mistake such as internal arrangement of a part not to be internally arranged. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
