摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device for a vehicular automatic transmission, preventing the occurrence of erroneous learning in learning control of engaging pressure of a hydraulic friction engaging device during power-off down-shift. SOLUTION: The hydraulic control device comprises a rotating speed difference calculating means 80 for calculating a rotating speed difference N<SB>SLP</SB>between the output side and the input side of a torque converter 30, a lock-up clutch control means 82 for controlling the slip of a lock-up clutch 32 so that the rotating speed difference N<SB>SLP</SB>is a predetermined target value N<SB>SLP</SB>*, and a learning prohibiting means 90 for prohibiting the learning control of engaging pressure of the engaging-side hydraulic friction engaging device if the rotating speed difference N<SB>SLP</SB>is smaller than a second predetermined value N<SB>SLP2</SB>when the slip of the lock-up clutch 32 is controlled during power-off down-shift. Even when the slip of the lock-up clutch 32 is continuously controlled during power-off down-shift, the occurrence of erroneous learning in shift learning control is suitably prevented.
