PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hierarchical heap management method and device that dispense with garbage collection. SOLUTION: In Steps 101 and 102, a set of variables identifying generated objects is created. In Step 103, a first heap is secured. In Steps 104 and 105, a second heap is secured and the second heap is stored as a lower layer of the first heap. In Step 106, objects are generated in the second heap and variables identifying the objects are added to the set. In Step 110, the second heap, which is the lower layer, is cleared when the first heap is cleared, and the variables identifying the objects in the second heap are removed from the set when the second heap is cleared.
