<p>Process is intended partic. for raw lignite or raw lignite which has been dried a little. The heat required for gasification is supplied entirely or mainly from outside as sensible heat and can be taken from a nuclear reactor. The coal, of suitable lump size, is put in the heated chamber and, as a result of the formation of gases on account of the heating, it becomes agitated and fluidised. This is esp. due to the effect of the water vapour and its decomposition products.</p> |
