PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION FOR APPLICATION TO NAIL

Conventional preparations for external application to the nail do no have satisfactory level of therapeutic effects. Disclosed is a novel preparation for external application, which has excellent drug-permeability to the nail, can fully develop the effect of an anti-fungus agent, and is effective for the treatment of a disease such as onychomycosis and candida onychomycosis, particularly tinea unguium. The preparation is a pharmaceutical composition for application to the nail, which comprises an anti-fungal agent, an alkylpyrrolidone or a derivative thereof and a crosslinked water-swollen gel.
