The tool has magnets (32) provided inside a cylindrical yoke (31), and an anchor (41) that is rotatably held inside the yoke. A cooling fan (7) is rotatably fastened to the anchor, and a fan guide (8) is provided at an area of the cooling fan. A cylindrical housing (2) is provided for receiving the yoke. The fan guide is connected with an end surface of the yoke in an axial direction, and stays in contact with the yoke in a circumferential direction. A recess section is formed in the end surface of the yoke in the axial direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling an electric power tool with a cylindrical yoke.
