The concrete screw has a cylindrical shaft (1) with a tapered tip. The screw head (4) has a larger diameter than the screw shank and of the same diameter as the outer edges of the thread (7). The screw head has an opening shaped to receive a drive tool. The screw head can be at least partially cylindrical. Claims include a use for the screw for retaining a decorative layer.
