<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system of a fuel residual quantity gauge and a residual travel distance meter, which inhibit a difference between a travelable distance of a vehicle which an operator recognizes and an actual travelable distance of the vehicle, even when regeneration control of an exhaust emission control device is performed using fuel in such a state that a fuel residual quantity in a fuel tank is reduced to a certain extent of quantity. <P>SOLUTION: After a time point when the fuel residual quantity in the fuel tank is not larger than a predetermined residual quantity, a fuel quantity for the regeneration, which is a total fuel quantity to be used for the regeneration control, is estimated before the fuel residual quantity in the fuel tank reaches the predetermined residual quantity.
