<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable connecting connector allowing insertion of a flat cable in a complete state to be viewed although it has a simple structure, allowing a connector mounting auxiliary fitting to be easily manufactured and mounted, and allowing the flat cable to be surely connected thereto by preventing the flat cable from being disconnected. <P>SOLUTION: This cable connecting connector includes: terminals attached to a housing and each having a contact part electrically connected to a conductive wire of the flat cable; an actuator having a body part capable of changing its attitude between a first position and a second position and set nearly parallel with the insertion direction of the flat cable at the second position, and contact parts formed on both sides of the body part; and flat connector mounting auxiliary fittings mounted on both the sides of the housing. The flat cable is provided with ear parts projecting from both its sides. The connector mounting auxiliary fitting is provided with a support surface to which the contact parts contact at the second position, and fitting recessed parts opened on the support surface for fitting the ear parts therein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
